Philadelphia County Establishes Nursing Home Litigation Program

The Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas issued a Notice to the Bar that there is a new Nursing Home Litigation Program to be coordinated by the Complex Litigation Center under the supervision of Coordinating Judge Sandra Mazer Moss. Litigation subject to this program includes claims primarily arising out of care and treatment rendered a nursing home facilities. The program does not include matters where claims primarily arise from assisted living care or where the care and treatment was rendered at assisted living care facilities.
